01 Request quotes 0:00
This is Request quotes on ArmorList, for an agency, and for any organization on a plan. One form: add a line for armor, a material, a component, testing, production work or a service. One supplier gets a direct request; add more and it becomes an RFQ with sealed quotes.
02 The lines 0:19
Each line says what it asks for: armor by type, NIJ standard and level, with the quantity and sizes, or a specification a supplier can price. Add the date you need it by, a delivery state and your contract vehicle.
03 Choose suppliers 0:34
For armor lines, ArmorList suggests companies with active NIJ CPL models that match, each with its reasons. Pick them, add any company from the directory, and send. Every supplier is notified by email.
04 Compare quotes 0:49
Quotes are sealed: no supplier sees another's price. Compare them side by side: totals by line, lead time, valid until, documents, and each supplier's record on the NIJ CPL and SAM.gov.
05 Award 1:03
Award in private. The winner is told; every other supplier is told not selected, without the winning price or the winner's name. Nothing is published.
06 Under Transactions 1:14
Your RFQ lives under Transactions, from Open to Awarded, with its quotes and its order.
07 The decision stays yours 1:20
One request, several suppliers, and the decision stays yours.
