Fact sheet · Buyers and agencies
Sourced armor data, free for agencies.
What ArmorList gives public-safety buyers, what it costs, and how it protects your agency’s account.
- Free for verified agencies and public-safety buyers
- Tested-to standards on the record, with NIJ listings re-checked nightly
- Compare models and request information from suppliers
- Your agency’s data isolated from every other account
What you get
- Free, after verification
- No cost for agencies and public-safety buyers. A government email verifies right away; any other is reviewed by our team before access.
- Search the whole market
- Products, companies and materials, filtered by level, standard, type, cut, material and maker.
- Compare, then ask
- Line models up side by side, and send a request for information or a quote that reaches the supplier’s team.
Where the data comes from
- The NIJ list, every night
- We re-read the NIJ Compliant Products List at 03:00 UTC and publish what it says for each model: standard, status and the date read. We never certify armor ourselves.
- More than one standard
- Products tested to ASTM, VPAM or military specifications are listed with that standard. Not being on an NIJ list is not a verdict.
- Results are never for sale
- No paid ranking. Sponsored placements are labeled and sit outside the results.

- Multi-factor authenticationBeing enabled
- Sign-in protected by a second factor from an authenticator app.
- Hosted in the United States
- On AWS in the US East region. Encrypted in transit, and at rest by our hosting provider.
