01 From the factory to the field 0:00
Selling armor to an agency isn't one sale. It's a long road. Getting found. Getting vetted. Proving your models are on the NIJ CPL. Sending the same documents, and answering the same questions, to every agency. Samples and evaluations. Quotes built by hand for grant rules. Contracts and purchasing vehicles. Then, for years after delivery: warranty claims, notices and recalls, and replacements. That's time, and it's money.
02 IntelAlytic, for the companies that equip them 0:31
IntelAlytic brings the whole road onto one record. ArmorList is where agencies research, vet and ask for quotes. ArmorTrack is where they run their armor for years after. For suppliers, the two are one: soft armor, rifle plates, ballistic helmets and shields.
03 Everything it does, in three stages 0:48
It works in three stages, and the agency sees the same ones. Before they buy: claim your company, the Procurement Ready pathway, your products from the NIJ CPL, technical documents, and how to buy from you. When they buy: requests and quotes, grant-ready paperwork, orders, and shipping by serial. After they issue: chain of custody, warranty claims, NIJ notices and your advisories, new products to your customers, and end of life. Use one piece, or all of them. The record keeps the chain either way.
04 Makers and distributors 1:20
Whether you make armor or distribute it, you work on the same record. The maker lists the model and registers every serial. The distributor carries it, quotes it, and ships it. The agency sees one product, one chain, and knows who to call.
05 Meet the example 1:34
Here's how it works, over one product's life.
06 Claimed, and on the pathway 1:40
It starts with your company. Find it on ArmorList and claim it. Your NIJ listings are already there. Fill in your record: tax ID, NCAGE, NAICS, contract vehicles, certificates, locations, and your team. Then climb the Procurement Ready pathway, from listed to verified to Procurement Ready, reviewed by a person on our team.
07 Listed from the NIJ CPL 2:01
List the vest by picking it from the NIJ CPL by model name. Its standard, level and status come with it, with the date they were read. Add the sizes, fits designed for women, photos, care instructions and warranty terms. Helmets, shields and rifle plates list the same way. Or upload your whole catalog at once.
08 Your documents, to the right people 2:21
Upload your technical documents to each product: spec sheet, test report, certificate of conformance, warranty, care and manual. You choose who sees each one: everyone, signed-in buyers, verified agencies only, or on request. Send them once, and every agency finds them on the record.
09 How to buy from you 2:40
Then tell agencies how to buy from you, in four parts. How to buy: your contract vehicles, minimums, lead times and payment terms. Your quote process: what you need from them, and how fast you answer. Samples and evaluation units. And grant-ready paperwork. Name your procurement contact, and the agency knows exactly who to ask.
10 Where to buy it 3:01
Distributors, add the vest you carry, with availability and lead time, and the maker's product page shows where to buy it. Prices stay private until you quote.
11 A request arrives 3:11
The Example County Sheriff's Office compares vests on ArmorList, checks the model and the company, and asks for a quote. The request reaches your team by email and in the inbox. If you haven't claimed your company yet, your contacts are invited to claim it and answer.
12 A quote they can use 3:28
Answer with a structured quote: each line with the product, size, quantity and the officer it's fitted to, plus lead time, validity and terms. For a Bulletproof Vest Partnership purchase, each line shows what the program checks: the model on the NIJ CPL on the quote date, made in the USA, and fitted to the officer.
13 Accepted, it’s an order 3:49
When the agency accepts, the quote becomes an order with the same lines. Confirm it, ship it with tracking, and attach the invoice. Both sides see the same status, from placed to delivered. There are no payments in the platform, and none of your pricing leaves the conversation.
14 Shipped by serial 4:05
Every vest you make is registered by lot and serial, and its chain of custody starts at your door. You ship the serials against the order lines, through your distributor or direct.
15 Received, with custody 4:17
The agency receives the shipment into ArmorTrack: each serial, with the order, the invoice and the officer it was fitted for. The chain runs from your line to theirs. It's the same record they'll use for years.
16 What you see, and what you don’t 4:30
From then on, you see what's yours to see: that it was received, and anything the agency sends you. Never who wears it, or where. That's why agencies trust the record, and it's why they keep it up to date.
17 Warranty and support 4:42
Years later, the agency finds a problem during an inspection. They message you from the unit: the model, the serial and the issue come with it, and a warranty claim arrives in your claims tab. Decide it, reply, and it's on the record for both of you.
18 Notices and advisories 4:58
When the NIJ issues a notice on one of your models, you see it the same day. When you issue your own advisory, you see how many units it reaches, without seeing whose they are.
19 New from you 5:10
When you launch a new model, post it. It reaches the agencies that own your armor or have connected with you, inside ArmorTrack. No paid placement goes inside ArmorTrack: agencies hear from their suppliers, not from ads.
20 End of life, and what comes next 5:24
At the end of its service life, the vest leaves service on the record: destroyed with a certificate, sent back to you for a trade-in, or another track the agency chooses. And the agency's replacement search starts with the model they already know, and the company that stood behind it.
