MA’s ultra lightweight Level 3 body armor plates (Model #1088) is NIJ .06 certified and specifically designed with the US Navy and Marine Corps in mind. Hence, a 10×12 single curve armor plate. In addition to weighing just three pounds, this level 3 armor is positively buoyant. Plus, it will defeat multiple 7.62X51 M80 NATO steel, 7.62x39MSC, and 5.56 M193, along with handgun munitions
