The Alphacore PES003 is a Level III+ Stand Alone ballistic plate made from polyethylene, designed to offer high-level protection against severe threats. It features a light and climate-resistant build, with dimensions of 10" x 12" (25.4 x 30.4 cm) and adopts a shooter cut shape with a single curve for improved fit. The plate weighs 1.5kg and is suitable for use with the TacTec 5.11 plate carrier. It has been tested according to NIJ 0101.06 standards for Level III+ protection, capable of withstanding impacts from ammunition such as 5.56 x 45 M193 at 970 m/s, 7.62 x 39 Ball and MSC AK47 at 710 m/s, and 7.62 x 51 NATO at 847 m/s, with each test involving 6 shots. The product comes with a 10-year warranty for ballistic performance from the date of manufacture.
