The NP Aerospace LASA Tactical Ballistic & Blast Shields, designed for high-risk tactical teams, provide NIJ Level III+ protection against ballistic multi-hit and blast threats, including 7.62mm NATO Ball, 7.62mm M43/M67 rounds, and blast fragmentation with a 17 gr FSP V50 exceeding 1400m/s. These second-generation shields, weighing 16kg/m^2, are manufactured from hybrid composite ballistic material and come in five unique sizes/shapes, some featuring viewports and weapon rests for optimal maneuverability. The design incorporates a 50” radius single curve, adjustable ergonomic handles for single or dual-handed operation, adjustable forearm straps, and robust edge and corner protectors. Additional features include suspended shield panels to reduce behind armor trauma and optional add-ons such as RAID lighting systems, catering to a wide range of tactical scenarios with enhanced ergonomics and protection.
