The Team Wendy EPIC Specialist helmet is specifically designed to cater to the rigorous demands of SWAT or riot team members, incorporating Ceradyne seamless ballistic shell technology for superior protection. It significantly surpasses the ACH in lightness while adhering to NIJ IIIA standards (NIJ STD 0106.01/0108.01). The inclusion of Team Wendy’s CAM-FIT™ BOA Dial retention system allows for quick, custom adjustments to various head shapes, ensuring a secure fit. Comfort is optimized with the EPIC Air® Fit liner system, which also meets ACH Gen II Blunt Impact (AR/PD 14-01) and AEP 2902 Clause 4.1.1.1 Method H requirements. Designed with low-profile, reverse dovetail accessory rails, the helmet supports compatibility with standard helmet accessories. A durable aluminum shroud facilitates interfacing with Wilcox lanyards and most NVG mount baseplates, enhanced by a shock cord kit for improved stability of night vision devices. Ceradyne's unique approach to ballistic protection features a proprietary Thermoplastic composites forming/molding process and a no-hole-through design.
