The Hardwire Model 007-015-3000 is a NIJ Level III hard armor plate constructed with Dyneema® and finished with a durable polyurea coating. The plate measures 10 × 12 × 1.2 inches in a standard cut, weighs 2.9 lbs, and is neutrally buoyant (it floats). It is compatible with most vests and plate carriers and is rated to stop 7.62×39 PS (steel core) and 5.56×45 M193 threats. The product is manufactured in the United States and is covered by a limited 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.
