DuPont™ Kevlar® AS K240S laminated film structure is a sophisticated solution capable of protecting the body armor wearer with a single-layered high-performance resin system, which provides thin, flexible and strong laminated sheets for multithread protection, including stab, spike, efficient trauma reduction and bullet resistant. The Kevlar® AS range of products consists of selected fabrics made of DuPont™ Kevlar® fibers that are laminated and cured with a DuPont proprietary film. The tough light-weight laminate film structure enables good flexibility to protect greater surface area in the thoracic region without discomfort or restrained freedom of movements. Kevlar® AS K240S is available in large sheets which facilitates the cutting of patterns and enables hybridization solutions with any other anti-ballistic products with reduced yield losses during vest manufacturing.
